Monday Night Samana Practice with Shelly and Cindy: The Yoga Practice of Balance and Strength
"Samana" in Sanskrit has several meanings, and one of the simplest is balance. Join us in a practice of
pranayama (breathing), asana (posture), yoga flow, relaxation, and meditation to bring strength and balance
to your body, mind, and spirit. Throughout our practice, we gently weave in practical ways to implement yoga
philosophy into your daily life. This class is appropriate for beginners or intermediate students ready for a challenge.
Strength and Stretch Yoga with Andrea
This class emphasizes the breath and strength behind each asana. Most asanas are held longer than usual to focus
on the form of the position and the muscles used. Each class ends with a gentle stretch and savasana, where we
use visualization to bring us to a state of relaxation. This class is good for all levels.
